Don't Kick The Chair Lyrics

Have you ever felt like everybody's watching, waiting for you to lose?
Have you ever felt like you're living in a spotlight, searching for the real you
Tell me, Have you ever woken up just to wish you could close your eyes
Getting hard to find a friend in a city like this where you can't even trust a smile

There are lonely nights when you see no hope, and you're feeling short of breath
Like the whole damn world is a braided rope in a noose around your neck

Don't kick the chair
It's gonna get better
Don't kick the chair
It can only get better

Have you ever felt love, really really felt love, the kind that could save a life
But right before you know it, you find out in a moment, you're gonna have to say goodbye

The last bit, in Kid Cudi's part is missing here, it should be:

No no no no listen If you gotta think twice about life Something really aint’ right You don’t need to help You Could be better all by yourself You Could be better all by yourself You Could be better all by yourself yeah You Could be better all by yourself ooh

Also, being the first song on the album "Red" This song has such a powerful message. It makes me love Dia so much more.

Stunning song - being sung with so much passion. I can relate to the way she felt, wanting to give up - but then coming to the realization that life has so much more to offer... No matter what life throws at you - It can only get better!!!

I heard this playing in a store a little while back, and thought the tune was catchy. It wasn't until I looked it up and realized what it was about that I really liked it. That is the importance of good lyrics.
