This song is self-explanatory for the most part. I just wanted to add that the song gives a nod to a song of the same title by Tom Petty - completely different lyrics and meaning though - and that Tom Petty is one of Dia Frampton's favorite musicians.
[Personal note: I have been a fan of Dia (and her sister Meg) for overhalf a decade. In 2006, her band performed at my university, and Ipurchased their album Something Real, which they were generous enoughto autograph. Needless to say, when I saw Dia Frampton perform on TheVoice, I got very excited. I am glad to see that she's finally gettingthe exposure she deserves.]
When you say that she gave a nod to the Tom Petty song, both songs are actually based on the legend of Billy the Kid, an Old Frontier outlaw. Personally I like Dia's version better.
