Therianthropy is someone who has a spiritual and/or mental identification with an animal. Most commonly, but not exclusively, wolves. And some wolf therians describe it as being a "spiritual werewolf", where their mind shifts suddenly to having more primal instincts and urges akin to a wolf.("Wolf's shadow follows me, strange thoughts reflecting in me.")
Dream shifting, and astral shifting are among others common to this community, and it is also interesting that this is mentioned in the lyrics as well.
A common theme in therianthropy is the duality of our minds, wolf mind and human mind (for the wolves). Sounds like one of these guys in the band is a theriantrope, or at least has done extensive research on the community.
