My two cents, as someone who as suffered a broken heart in the romance area, If this is just a song,Then why do I find it so hard to move on, he is saying if this were just a song why is this so hard? So hard to let go of this and move on. It means so much more than the songs we listen to about love (even though they are important) Feels a crime to be crying for this long. Also this line is great, there were times where I would be crying after we had broken up for awhile and I'd think shouldn't I be over this by now??
