Oh no. No comments? This is one of the most beautiful songs (lyrics and vocals). Both Liam and his musical partner (Liam Clancy) are now deceased. Their legacy is very special and this duet is incredible. It's obviously a love song and it's one of my personal favorites.
Gawd this is a gorgeous song. It's sad how many people are not familiar with it. These two men (Clancy, who does a duet with this song) were so talented. Check out Youtube to see some black and white performances.
