Undefeated Lyrics

We won't fall when we're under the gun
When all your heroes have failed you
When all your heroes have failed you

You'll never show your face, you are a coward!
We'll never let you win
We'll never let you ever again (ever again)

Preach your "gospel"
Choke on you fortune and glory
No matter what they say
We're not the ones who lost our way
We're fighting for our lives
(We're fighting for our lives)
It's not enough to say
That we were the ones who lost our way
We're fighting for our lives
(We're fighting for our lives)

All you built is in ruins
All you are has been destroyed

Preach your "gospel"
Choke on you fortune and glory
No matter what they say
We're not the ones who lost our way
We're fighting for our lives
(We're fighting for our lives)
It's not enough to say
That we were the ones who lost our way
We're fighting for our lives
(We're fighting for our lives)

And now's the time you'll be forgotten
And now's the time, your time to be
Forgotten under when walls crash down around you
Forgotten under when walls crash down around you

We won't fall when we're under the gun
When all your heroes have failed you
When all your heroes have failed you (x2)

I think this song is about christians and christian bands who either make music or do whatever for themselves and act like they're doing it for God. When they say at the beginning "we won't fall when we're under the gun" i think they're staying that they will actually stand up for God when pressure comes. I don't know what the heroes part means though. Blessthefall in the chorus is saying that they aren't the ones who have gone off God's path but that it's these hypocrites that are.

Great song, album and lyrics!

Beau said that this song is about a guy from a popular band who was spreading rumors and basically being really hard on him.

Preach your "gospel": (it actually has the quotes but they didn't show up in the lyrics) The idea is that the guy thinks that his words are divine, that he has some power over Beau, and to his fans, he's taken very seriously and worshiped. And in the next line, Beau says that he can choke on it.

All you built is in ruins: I think he's trying to get across that if this guy keeps treating people like this, he won't have any fans left. Same with "you'll be forgotten."

And the last lines. Since this dude is really popular, he's a hero to some. The last lines are for the fans. blessthefall won't fall, even when guys like that are hard on them.
