Doesn't matter if you liked it, discuss that crap at school. I know the album is based off a certain set of plays, though my knowledge of the meaning is absent, hopefully someone (it may be me) will actually do research and uncover what this actually means.

This song is about "moral boundaries" and "temptations", the difference between "love" and "lust", good and bad, right and wrong.

I think this song is about an evil entity (which I’ll refer to as the Devil) trying to get someone to feel so miserable about themselves that they’ll commit suicide and suffer forever more within his grasp.

His temptations are really strong to this person, hence why he’s the beauty that makes them cross their sacred boundaries. The Devil wants this person to give up trying to be moral, to be good, and let themselves free to live in attractive sin, to worship him through committing such sins. But, in the end, he’s gonna mistreat this person, make them suffer badly because he despises people. He wants their life snuffed out. Gone.

He wants that person to be so depressed, so lonely and loathsome to the point of committing suicide because it’s fun to him. The Devil wants this person to doubt themselves in such a level that, even in death, they won’t find comfort, ever.

James’ parts are just clearing it up that the Devil is the root [of suffering], the progress [of his evil, the one he offers to the person] and the aggressor [self-explanatory]. The more meme-worthy parts of the songs are multiple things related to suicide methods:

• A tablet [of medicine];
• These ten stories [people jump off from to die];
• The view [from either the roof or the window of some building someone could also jump off to kill themselves];
• The table [someone uses to prop themselves up before hanging themselves]

Seriously people the meaning of this song is basically saying I’m better than you because it is referring bad things like I wanna see your suicide to someone else and saying I am to a lot of things but it is saying I am all these things which is referring to I am better than you
