French Bacon Lyrics
Have you heard about the new sex, new sex?
It's a reason to be nicer to you.
I see you putting on the brand X spandex,
Everybody needs someone to do,
And now I'm living in the middle of your street,
A'living here with aplomb,
She gets a sneak peek at the meet she's gonna eat,
And she's a time-bomb, time-bomb.
And now she's living in a shack on a fiery line,
With a fridge filled with french bacon,
Mouthing all the words of a famous mime,
For which she's commonly mistaken.
I know her, I knew her,
I knew she couldn't hang,
And now she's dying in a ditch on the county line,
From a device of her own making.
I'm never good enough at saying all the right things,
Sometimes I say too much.
Sometimes I feel like a puppet with no strings,
Dying and desperate for your touch.
And now she's living in a shack on a fiery line,
With a fridge filled with french bacon,
Mouthing all the words of a famous mime,
For which she's commonly mistaken.
I know her, I knew her,
I knew she couldn't hang,
And now she's dying in a ditch on the county line,
From a device of her own making.
Nobody's all bad, nobody's all good,
Nobody lives forever, but I wish we could,
We define forever, define forever,
Define forever, define forever, define forever!
And now she's living in a shack on the fiery line,
With a fridge filled with French bacon,
Mouthing all the words of a famous mime,
For which she's commonly mistaken.
I know her, I knew her,
I knew she couldn't hang.

Another difficult, possibly "about nothing" song (as D.V. likes to say about his songs).
It seems like a guy that's obsessed with a girl because of he wants her sex. She seems to be into it, and indulges him.
For some reason, she can't take the attention, or doesn't want his advances anymore and she moves away. The narrator wants to stay with her though.
I have no clue aboutt he chorus, and french bacon. However someone else pointed out the reference to the previous album's second track ("French Bacon" is the opposite of "American Cheese")
LOL...Hornytheclown; a song about sex; and a pair of Spandex tossed in for good measure. WoW....talk about an exciting Friday night for me;)

A lot of their songs are narrative, that is, they tell a story. In this case, he is talking about a super villain. Phrases that xxxx this are: brand X spandex (superhero's favorite clothing), "dying" "from a device of her own making (mad scientist invention), "Nobody's all bad, nobody's all good" referencing the morality of super heroes verses super villains (she's not all bad), "famous mime" may be super villain face paint (like the Joker), "he's a time-bomb, time-bomb" is her villainous character, "I knew she couldn't hang," may be that she's escaped punishment (as opposed to hand like hanging out, or hang with us). As always, I may be completely wrong.
