Tumbleweed Lyrics

Home,
You're so far away,
come on home.

Home,
A candle you can hold,
you're not alone.

Home,
You're so far away,
come on home.

Home,
A voice from within,
you're not alone.

A tumbleweed is a type of weed that grows for a while, then when drought and wind strike, the weed is dried out and its root structure gives way, and the weed, now a round little bush, starts to roll away... This is a tumbleweed.

A Tumbleweed is also a person who felt a connection to their home, but no longer does. Like the drought and the wind, stress and greed have depleted the land I call home and my root structure is giving way. As the wind begins to take me, I hear this song playing on the wind that carries me away from here, and it is supposed to be hope.

I'm going to that area to enter the wine industry and hopefully restart my life.

I hope that helps.

My Interpretation

Amazing song. Very self explanatory yet very hard to explain.
