Caught a train, took a road
Searching for a pot of gold
Never knew, never told
And I wonder where you are
Curious
There was a time I knew a man
Who traveled in a caravan
He said seek and you shall find
But I haven't found
Chorus
And I wonder where you are
Curious
And I wonder where you are
Safe I trust
And I wonder where you are
Curious
What is that far away
Same mirage as yesterday
Hey there mister got a drug to take my mind away
Chorus
Forty years down the road
Haven't found that pot of gold
Getting tired, I'm going home
Chorus
Searching for a pot of gold
Never knew, never told
And I wonder where you are
Curious
Who traveled in a caravan
He said seek and you shall find
But I haven't found
And I wonder where you are
Curious
And I wonder where you are
Safe I trust
And I wonder where you are
Curious
Same mirage as yesterday
Hey there mister got a drug to take my mind away
Haven't found that pot of gold
Getting tired, I'm going home

My impression is that this song is sung in the first person, telling of meeting a man who tells him to find a pot of gold (could be interpreted as a dream, or passion, purpose in life etc.). This mysterious man is named Curious as he travels in a caravan in search of adventure. Unfortunately the protagonist never finds this pot of gold, all the while wondering what became of Curious.
