Great song.

Not quite sure what it's about. Possibly Heroin? Or about someone else who's addicted to a drug or is living a deceiving life in some way...either a friend/ ex-lover/ the guitarist that quit the band.

Or...most probably...a slightly abusive lover that doesn't really care about him but is just a good looking man so he can get away with stuff.

A song about someone who knew somebody from a long time. He know that his friend/girlfriend keeping a secret from him. But anyway, he still know.

I think this song is about a guy who met a person who perhaps hides themselves and can't commit fully but he fell for them anyway. People warned him "they said you were a mystery" but he thought deep down they were different Now he's regretful because he they broke his heart and he knew they were like this before the relationship began
