It's hard to believe I had to post these song lyrics, as this is one of her most beautiful songs. I'm not sure who wrote it originally - if anybody knows please post it here. And the meaning of these lyrics can be interpreted in different ways, like it can be seen as a romantic love song, or a song about God, etc. But whatever it's about, it's simply gorgeous =')
Claire Hamill, I think, according to the profile of the 'best of' album on the performingsongwriter website wrote it. The song actually does take your breath away and I particularly appreciate the simplicity and directness of the words, not to forget Eva Cassidy who hit it out the park as usual.
