I don't think this song is really about immaturity but more about just Chis wanting unconditional love. He had this quote: "But it’s also saying that the value that I’m looking for is someone who loves me unconditionally. For example, like mommy." This song reminds my of the guy from A Complete History of my Sexual Failures... (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1037033/).It's about being a pathetic but lovable loser that just wants to find the right girl. The lead singer even looks quite a bit like him, they're rocking the floppy Kurt Cobain hair and raggy jeans grunge look.
