Je te Laisserai des Mots Lyrics
Je te laisserai des mots [I will leave you words]
En-dessous de ta porte [underneath your door]
En-dessous de les murs qui chantent [underneath the singing walls]
Tout près de la place où tes pieds passent [just near the place where your feet pass by]
Cachés dans les trous de ton divan [hidden in the holes of your sofa]
Et quand tu es seule pendant un instant [and when you're alone for a moment]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]
En-dessous de les murs qui chantent [underneath the singing walls]
Tout près de la place où tes pieds passent [just near the place where your feet pass by]
Cachés dans les trous de ton divan [hidden in the holes of your sofa]
Et quand tu es seule pendant un instant [and when you're alone for a moment]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]
Ramasse-moi [pick me up]
Quand tu voudras [whenever you want]

I changed the lyrics to the original lyrics of Patrick Watson. Most online interpretations are wrong/ translated wrong or whatever.
One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Never lets me down.
I wish more of Patrick Watson's songs were this simple and pure.
He’s leaving the subject with his words and memories, it seems to be a parting message with no bitterness, though a little wistful. Everyone is just a singular point in space and sometimes those points move along side another point for some time, and often those two points diverge paths once more. That’s not to say he’s content or glad, it’s a very mournful tone.

It’s like Christina Rossetti’s “When I Am Dead, My Dearest”, except he’s making sure they think of him.
