Think it's just about how hard it is to make relationships work, marriages, or anything. Love is not as easy as it seems, we both make mistakes. We continually run into the same problems. No matter if we have kids, love, money, etc, love is not like they all say. And I think she is writing coming off making some mistakes or being hurt, and reflecting, "I drown my feelings in the sea, I dried out over on the beach" Cool song. Love the beat and the lyrics.
