The Video Dept. Lyrics
I have kept your diary on tape
I have covered every angle of your face
From ear to ear and then you would smile
And disappear for a while
Take me when you go out again
I want to buy some stuff from your friend
It's good to know we both still care
And that we have this to share
I have covered every angle of your face
From ear to ear and then you would smile
And disappear for a while
I want to buy some stuff from your friend
It's good to know we both still care
And that we have this to share

Though it's super blissful, it's almost heartbreaking in how desperate he sounds. It's almost like he's living as though someone he once knew is still a part of his life, and he's using videotapes and pictures to help recreate her presence.
@Aniland seems like he narrators friend is still around "Take me when you go out again"

enduring love... beautiful music.
Personal favorite of theirs, echoing of the guitar is great.
This is my favorite song from The Radio Dept. Maybe because it sounds so much like New Order's Ceremony. To me it's about reminiscing the great times you had with someone who's no longer in your life. I've had some passing friends whom i can no longer talk to properly because of certain...events. This song makes me feel like everything that we had is not completely lost, but it's living still through my memory.
