You gave me more than I hoped for
Your right to take it all away
The trouper you are you always leave them wanting more
But it won't always be that way

Happy I died happy
Look who's coming on down
(You've got everything and your bird can sing
One day it will fly away)

Happy I died happy
Look who's coming on down
(You've got everything and your bird can sing
One day it will fly away)

Here's a boy with time on his side
Here's the girl too stupid to hide
(Away from all...)
All the mistakes I have seen you make before
Just tell me, who'll be your friend when it all comes down

Your big screen self is half of what you could be
I'm still brushing stardust from my body, gee
Oh gee, oh boy look at you now,
Johnny, what's left of you is meant for me
When it all comes down, you'll see

Happy I died happy
Look who's coming on down
(You've got everything and your bird can sing
One day it will fly away)

Happy I died happy
Look who's coming on down
(You've got everything and your bird can sing
One day it will fly away)

Here's a boy with time on his side
Here's the girl too stupid to hide
(Away from all...)
All the mistakes I have seen you make before
Just tell me, who'll be your friend when it all comes down.

It's gonna fall hard

Harder than you think
Sooner than you think
You'll see it's gonna come down

Harder than you think
Sooner than you think
You'll see it's gonna come down

This is one of those tricky songs to figure out because the perspectives are always changing. but it looks to be about a boy who has plenty of time to wait for a stupid girl to get smart enough to hide from the things that some very bad powerful people are doing to her, which they've done to her before. These powerful people own everything, including the girl, who seems to be the bird who can sing who's going to fly away. Through it all, one or both of these kids taunts these powerful people asking who'll be their friend when it all comes tumbling down for them. I'll also guess from the picture of Jesus on the record cover that all of this has to do with the Second Coming and the final Fall of Babylon foretold in the Bible's revelations because the song ends with "Harder than you think, sooner than you think, you'll see it's gonna come down." That makes sense because she keeps repeating "I died happy" throughout. So basically it's a song about the end of the world which is coming soon.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
