This Song Saved My Life

This song is amazing! It's so wonderful. It describes how I feel about sooooo many songs. I nearly cried the first time I heard it because the things the fans said are so true. There are so many songs that can change my mood and make me feel better. Even a few that can stop me from getting depressed. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there whp feels liek this about music.

There is no real need to say what this song means, it's straight forward, the song was written by the band for us, the fans.The band has always received letter and mail from fans saying how Simple Plan spngs have saved their lives,so a while back, when they were writing the new album Get Your Heart On they asked on twitter for fans to send in their stories, anything really and they wrote a song based on what they received. They even invited some fans to sing on the song! Astronauts know what i mean! So it's not really a direct response to Perfect.

I absolutly love this song, it makes me feel like im giving something back to all the songs that have cheered me up when I was down when i listen to it. I could just listen to it all day, its at the top of my playlist.

I think of this song as a direct response to Perfect because it mentioned "because of you my dad and me are so much closer".

I really love this song. it's my favourite from their new album...and i love it entirely, but this song has something special.

i think he's thanking music for all the times he was depressed and music was his only relief. i found myself in this situation so many times...and i wouldn't have made it if there weren't so many great songs i could relate to.

This song is amazing! I just saw the music video this morning and it touched my heart <3 Definitely gonna be one of my favorites.

To me, though this may not be the meaning of the song, it's an extended metaphor. The song is a person who saved his life.

I can grasp that from the 'Sometimes it feels like you've known me forever', and 'I'm not alone, that I'll never have to be.' Some others too, obviously, but especially those.

It's like it was created to say thank you for a person who had helped him through the difficult times.

How I feel about a lot of Simple Plans songs..... (Personally, I'd like to say everything this song is saying about: Generation, Me against the world, Shut up, One, When I'm gone, Running out of time, Perfect, God must hate me, Welcome to my life, Perfect world)

Long live Simple Plan, that many albums may follow! :)
