Es-so, es-so
Pudding pie and
Es-so, es-so
Do or die and
Es-so, es-so
A baby's cry
I gotta do right if my body's tight, right?

Es-so, es-so
A piece of bacon
Walk a mile round the lake and
Crunches, still on they climb up high
I gotta do right if my body's tight, right?

Sometimes I've got the jungle under my skin
Drive up the rhythms, stick a fucking fork in
Bathe it all in a wave of disgust
'I can't believe I ate the whole thing'

Es-so, es-so
Me and you
Love each other through and through
It is true, Daddy
It is true, Daddy
I'm running over my body with my own car

Es-so, Es-so
Feelin' free

    Song Meaning

Esso is a brand name for gas stations in much of the world. So I'm guessing this song is about how you fuel your body, or fail doing so: "I run over my own body with my own car".

I think this song is about..

well I don't know. Taken semi-literally with semi-lucidity I.. Guess about eating disorders? In this case too much rather than too little. Pressure to be skinny in the city?

Fuck knows. That's a pretty passé take on it.. it's my best though. What do you peeples think?

This is another TY song containing the wrong lyrics in a few very key points. They completely change the meaning of the song here in fact.

    First verse

Es-so, es-so Pudding pie and Es-so, es-so (a newborn dying) Es-so, es-so A baby's cry I gotta do right if my body is tight, right?

There is no better way to put it It even sounds like what you guys think it is do or die and Just re read the song after you add the corrected lyric. es-so es-so feelin free If it were about eating disorder or fueling your body, why do you think she would be feeling free from that? You will never feel free from eating, anyone with an eating disorder will tell you that. Eating is actually something those people normally don't want to do. Looking at it from that point Gentlemen logically it cannot be about eating disorder. Unless of course she plans to commit suicide by "I run over my own body with my own car" However I kinda doubt it... and the end is her feeling free because she is dead. but i think the "i run over my own body" line is more about how she created the problem she is talking about in the song.

I agree that it is about eating disorders, and find it quite ironic that there's a weight watchers ad on this page.

Thankfully there are quality men in this world who know what is important in a woman. Then there are the immature, insecure, shallow types who need a pretty arm hang who gives head to anyone she dates...and she dates plenty. So much for true love and true romance...just a game between older, skinny dudes with big egos and little penis's who must have a child to make them feel important. Too bad they usually get dumped quickly. Gotta watch those big children when it comes to dating!

This clears up so much. I thought the song said

Es-so, es-so Pudding pie and Es-so, es-so Do or die and Es-so, es-so A baby's cry I gotta be right if my body is tired, right?

Es-so, es-so A piece of cake and Walk a mile around the lake and ????? climb up high I gotta be right if my body is tired, right?

Sometimes I've got the jungle under my skin Drive up the skin and stick a fucking fork in Baby bottle in a wave of disgust 'I can't believe I ate the whole thing'

Es-so, es-so Me and you Love each other through and through It is true, Daddy It is true, Daddy I ran over my own daughter with my own car

    Es-so, Es-so Feelin' free

and i thought it was about a mother driven crazy by the responsibility dropped on her by having a child, and it's neediness for her turns into constant crying and whining that pushes her over the edge and she kills the baby.
