if a needle pierced for every drop of blood that was spilled
from every innocent civilian, left betrayed and then killed
by empty reason, mass-manufactured, crafted and skilled
through institutions, factions acting through retractions and bills
there'd be a tear in the frame of time- a lesion so giant
it'd take entire generations sold as slaves to define it
itself is more of a paradox, how treated should be it?
say one can't trust to love it, why not be the first to defeat it?
circular logic, project terrorize, the world is the spies
with an Uzi used to deafen out the sound of the cries
look in his eyes, can't you see? it's greed that he speaks
be it with parliament or senate, still an oligarchy
the CEOs are taking seats inside the buildings of congress
claiming invisible hand, supply-demand keeps them honest
except the hand is in the pockets of the laboring millions
who give their lives to a system before they give them their children
the sons and daughters of a nation slaughtered, martyred by fate
for the creation of a brand new sate- I can hardly, wait

ecstasy, MP3, the GOP, ADD
terrorists in the white house or on overseas missions
the Buddhists, the Hindus, the Jews, Muslims and Christians
now, could it be our barrier is the language?
or is oil that important that one could inflict anguish?
money, power, respect, the army's got to go kill
they're under contract- time to let the blood spill
sort of morbid, ain't it? the picture I just painted
but take a few steps back and see just what you created...
