Sure Feels Right Lyrics
The traffic’s backed up on the 405,
And the smog's so thick you can cut it with a knife,
But it gives me time,
To think about my life,
I take the 10 to the 5 to the 101,
I got a song sitting here on the tip of my tongue,
And the more I drive,
The more I feel alive.
Well I don't know what you're doing to me,
But it sure feels right,
Well I don't know what you're doing to me,
But let's do it all night,
When the sunlight breaks through the LA sky,
For some damn reason it makes me smile,
And I don't know what you're doing to me,
But it sure feels right.
I'm driving down Sunset Boulevard,
Sex Pistols on the radio in my car,
And I must be high,
I just saw Jesus walk by.
I make a hard left as the sun comes up,
Over Hollywood vampires ditching their luck,
Baby lock your door,
Yeah we’ve seen this before.
And I don't know what you're doing to me,
But it sure feels right,
And I don't know what you're doing to me,
But let's do it all night,
When the sunlight breaks through the LA sky,
For some damn reason it makes me smile,
And I don't know what you're doing to me,
But it sure feels right. (x2)
But it sure feels right,
Soaking up the sunshine,
Sitting on the forward Five,
I can take my time just to do what I like,
Because it sure feels right,
Just singing to the radio,
I don't know what you're doing to me,
But let's do it all night.
Just singing to the radio,
Everybody's singing to the radio.
And the smog's so thick you can cut it with a knife,
But it gives me time,

I'm actually smiling for you, Brazil. I'm happy you're happy. It's better than two being miserable when life is too short to dwell. Good luck to you...
WeHo Jesus :) He exists hahaha Google it <3
I love that part about Jesus walking by...the homeless man dressed up as JC on Sunset Blvd. Saw him myself
This sounds like a country song. I really like when a band branches off of their 'label'. I think it shows maturity not being biased to one genre
I've always heard, "Holywood vampires PUSHING their luck" but oh well. Anyone know what "Holywood Vampire" refers to hear though?
And I can tell you with certainty it's not "sittin' on the foward Five" it's "sittin' on the Four-O-Five" like as in a highway. Just like all the other highways in the song. Come on people.
This song is amazing. I am huge Nikki Sixx fan, and I say that he is the reason that I switched from being a front man in a band to playing bass. To me, this song shows a different side of Sixx...namely his softer side. In my own interpretation, it could be a song about a guy or girl that is in a good romance, and just trying to tell the world that he or she is just so happy.
