Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
i think "burning paper heart" means that the relationship was over from the beginning, regardless of how intense or passionate it was.
just a burning heart would signify the intensity. but since the heart is made of paper, it's inevitable that after time the intensity of the relationship will be what in fact ends it.
and, i think since they're rolled together (as you can roll paper together), the ending of the relationship will be mutually destructive for both of them.
and "bursting apart" rather than fading apart or tearing apart seems like a pretty violent way to put it. so the relationship probably ends as suddenly and overwhelmingly as it started.
My first reaction is that the song has to do with rolling on Molly (mdma), not just because of the name "rolled together," but also because of the vibe this mesmerizing, intense song gives off. Listening to it brought me right back to the absolute euphoria of rolling with someone you love...it's so intense that you feel like you'll explode but you also know something that intense will quickly burn out..
just a guess, it's ambiguity obviously leaves it up for interpretation...but anyone who has rolled before could probably see this perspective
I can't tell but it might be "rolled together with a burning paper heart." Either way it doesn't seem to matter much. I really like this song. I think it's my favorite off the new record. The loop that plays throughout is completely hypnotic.
Something that came together quickly and passionately ("with a burning paper heart") but without sustainability and has reached the limit of its capacity to stay together ("about to bust apart").

Yeah, I think hypnotic is the way to describe this song. He repeats the lyric almost like a mantra. The backing music also plays up this aspect.
