Baby Mine Lyrics
Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Little one, when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you
From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sure as can be, baby of mine
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sure as can be, baby of mine

This is the BEST version of Baby Mine EVER!!!!! I think it's even better that the Betty Noyce version in the movie!!!! I thiink they should've used this in the movie b/c the other one is,IMO, too fast for the "Baby Mine" scene in Dumbo. This version, however, is PERFECT for that scene!!!
I have to agree with JDLuvaSQEEEE on this one. This version is far superior to the movie version. Michael Crawford was an A+ choice for this song. I will play this for my future baby every night as a lullaby.
