Looks like an existential crisis:

This day feels anything but typical Woke up choking on a miracle I don't know why I don't know why

*feel good when you wake up, so full of joy you're choking on a miracle. But it doesn't make sense

My teacher told me what I'm made for I beg to differ in the outcome I don't know why I don't know why

*You're told you'll be successful and that you're meant for something big, but it doesn't add up to you.

There's nowhere to run When you're hiding from the truth It's some kind of joke When the tears are bleeding blue Looking glass fire When the pain is caused by you It's some kind of joke

*So, life feels like a joke, unreal, almost funny.It hurts to watch it.

I'm almost done with all my secrets I'll take my time to fake a deep breath I don't know why I don't know why

*I'm not sure about the secrets line. But faking a deep breath sounds like you're pretending it's okay.

In a room full of red pretend to be dumb We fall on our face pretend to be numb In a room full of red pretend to be dumb We fall on our face pretend to be numb

*The room isn't full of red, you're seeing red because you're angry. Maybe at something or someone else, but you play dumb and ignore it. When you're hurt, you pretend you don't feel it.

*It's some kind of joke, but hey, at least you're not alone.

Good stuff from one of the only bands that stays true to who they are, where who they are is something to be desired. Fabulous.

Seems like a dream to me.
