Lorelai Lyrics
So, guess I got old
I was like trash on the sidewalk
I guess I knew why
Often it's hard to just sweet talk
I was unused to you then
Old news, a noose to you then
You, you were like glue
Holding each of us together
I slept through July
While you made lines in the heather
I was unused to you then
Old news, a noose to you then
Fell for the ruse with you then
Old news, old news to you then
And I still see you when I try to sleep
I see the garden, the tower, the street
Call out to nobody, call out to me
Chip on the shoulder, the diamond, the teeth
Now I can see how
We were like dust on the window
Not much, not a lot
Everything stolen or borrowed
I was unused to you then
Old news, a noose to you then
I was like trash on the sidewalk
I guess I knew why
Often it's hard to just sweet talk
Old news, a noose to you then
Holding each of us together
I slept through July
While you made lines in the heather
Old news, a noose to you then
Old news, old news to you then
I see the garden, the tower, the street
Call out to nobody, call out to me
Chip on the shoulder, the diamond, the teeth
We were like dust on the window
Not much, not a lot
Everything stolen or borrowed
Old news, a noose to you then

NORWEGIAN WOOD
I thought the same thing! Well, really I thought "4th time around," by Dylan, but all three are almost the same. All awesome Waltzes!

1st verse: Guy realizes that he's the one who was the boring one in the relationship. 2nd verse: He's living the life, just sleeping and thinking everything is OK in his failing relationship. Meanwhile, she's off doing her own thing and growing apart from him. 3rd verse: He's upset and angry when he realizes that this girl was growing apart from him the whole time he thought nothing was wrong. 4th verse:He finally understands that their relationship wasn't really a true relationship. They weren't as attached as he thought and they were really just living the cliches of other relationships.
I believe it's "holding each of us together"
Thanks! Fixed both of them :)
Thanks! Fixed both of them :)
I get that his relationship with her was all in his mind/dream/sleep.
Call out to nobody call out to me... I was unused to you then.. trash on the sidewalk..
he is totally dreaming. sounds my lame ol' me for the time being.
This song is about a young girl on an internet forum who doesn't exist. Robin, like many more people, kinda falls for her. She is the perfect match of youth, beauty, and intelligence. Add wit, charm, brilliant perception, and the cunning ability to "Work a room", and everyone is powerless to resist her.
She has an entire history, a family tree, and enough tragedy in her life to pull anyone into her ruse. But she doesn't really exist at the other end. She is just a creation of someone's imagination and innocent intent.

Is it about you, LorelaiOksana?
yes..
This was taken out of a place i write only to myself, this is the first time i've posted online any of this stuff, i mainly do it because i have nobody to talk these things with SIXSMITH Lorelei(A Poem by Sylvia Plath) reminds me of yeloow and in this i rimed and wrote somenthing on the song section Now after reading the poem 9 words i dindt know, all adjectives, and 4 sentences that only made sense afterwords i'll see if i can find some correlation to the song lorelai WOW WTF, I FOUND HEATHER CHANDLER: FUCK ME GENTLY WITH A CHAINSAW Wtf have i read. But getting to it, MOST PPL will call me crazy THere's no direct correlation with it, but nothing in the world of poems is a sure thing, there are many interpretations and i have just the one to make you see that they speak about the same topic. Now at first i really thought it was a no no, but the ending got me relating everything that he wrote, with the country plath told us about. He is old now, ponderous, everything that happened between they had only hebatude from the relationship, and of things stolen or borrowed of only bland things. And that's wat it's about, the dull, the lapsing of things, she was the flux of silver, and he is dying to get down that ferry one more time. And i guess the tower didn't come out of nowhere xP i mean there's no possible context where that can fit in. And it all fits in nicely with his new interpretation, and it's name with a new A is well deserved
Also it's "ruse", not "roose"
It's Lorelei! Not Lorelai!
nevermind.
nevermind.
what's it about?
