Treble Chair Lyrics
Hold me close
You wild tiny darling
Oh no, your claws are golden
Ouch!
Where’s my pet
Some smoke some wine
Some grounds of conscious nothing to find
Dig it
Keep each other close
Keep each other near
You know this world is the lunatic’s sphere
Dig it?
It ain’t hard to get the motivation
Positives in the correction
strike me once, now your beggin’ for blood
now you’ll find it’ll do you no good
Keep each other close
Keep each other near
You know this world is the lunatic’s sphere
Leave me out of this war
Leave me out of this world
Out of this world
You wild tiny darling
Oh no, your claws are golden
Ouch!
Some smoke some wine
Some grounds of conscious nothing to find
Dig it
Keep each other near
You know this world is the lunatic’s sphere
Dig it?
Positives in the correction
strike me once, now your beggin’ for blood
now you’ll find it’ll do you no good
Keep each other near
You know this world is the lunatic’s sphere
Leave me out of this world

feel like its all tied together by the "leave me out of this war, leave me out of this world" at the end
starts with being hurt probably by a girl, he smokes and drinks but finds no clarity... only decides the whole world is crazy
keep me out of this war is referring to the girl, and to me displays apathy towards the importance everyone places on the opposite sex in general, then he decides he just doesn't want to be like everyone else in the lunatic sphere anyways, hence keep me out of this world
absolutely love it
This is my favorite track from the lp. Its so dynamic and colourful.
"positives in the correlation"
would love to hear some peoples interpretations of the meaning though... might be my favorite song on the album, but then again every time i listen to them i listen to the album in its entirety...
For me I think I feel like this song is about having a constant struggle with someone you truly care about. Obviously dealing with the ups and down of his relationship with someone, I think he is offering advice to a couple he is familiar with, or maybe even to himself. I love "It ain't hard to get the motivation, Positives in the correlation" To me even though he is having problems with this girl, when he thinks of her or is around her all of his thoughts are good. And the fact that he still holds her in this positive light is why he is continually motivated to keep trying to make things right. The last lines sound like he may have given up on her however, "leave me outta this war, leave me outta this world" Like he is finally over all the conflict and just wants to move on from the life/world he has become accustomed to. I think the transitions in sound by the band drive the change in thought process by the songwriter or at least make the listener aware of his changing thoughts.
I'm almost sure it's "Some grounds of ganja" not "Some grounds of conscious"
