Kids don't fight Lyrics
Going, going into the night light swimming site
knowing, knowing they'd never leave you
Kids don't fight
Listen, they don't know any better
They call these places
They call these places home
Thought I, maybe tonight things will look much brighter with hindsight
Well I thought we were gonna be different
We were gonna be great
Now I'm telling the kids to sit up straight
Going, going into the night light swimming site
knowing, knowing they'd never leave you
Kids don't fight
Listen, they don't know any better
Lemonade!
Lemonade says:I care
We love this one, don't we?
Throw money after it
knowing, knowing they'd never leave you
Kids don't fight
Listen, they don't know any better
They call these places
They call these places home
Well I thought we were gonna be different
We were gonna be great
Now I'm telling the kids to sit up straight
knowing, knowing they'd never leave you
Kids don't fight
Listen, they don't know any better
Lemonade says:I care
We love this one, don't we?
Throw money after it

Like many Mew songs (I'm thinking of "Comforting Sounds" in particular), this seems to be rooted in Jonas's rueful musings about growing up.
This is from the soundtrack to a film I haven't seen, so maybe watching it would shed a little more light on the lyrics.
