I think that this song is pretty straightforward, imo.
First off, it's hauntingly beautiful.
I think it's about someone who is doing some soul searching but isn't able to find the answers they're looking for.
"And what you want to find is piece of mind of which you can't describe" I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be 'peace', but either way, it's supporting evidence.
I think it's about a journey we all take and whether or not we let glory or hate define us.
Great song from an up and coming artist - obviously the first thing I think of when i hear the title of this song is the Gold Coast, which is in southern Queensland, Australia. For those that don't know, the Gold Coast, affectionately known as the 'Goldie' is a bit like Miami, Florida - lots of high-rise apartments on a pristine beach with perfect waves and sunny every day of the year, except alot of really 'fake' people. Absolutely no idea if this has anything to do with the song though!
