Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
I listened to this while upside down with my head in a bucket of lime jelly that hadn't quite set yet, and I was holding a ferret in my left hand, whilst stroking it with my right, and I'm convinced I heard Thom say, "You're a fucking idiot". Anyone else hear anything similar?
Sorry to have pissed you off, guy. Just after Like Spinning Plates//I Will, I thought they might use some backwards recordings again. Just trying to offer something for the song.

I swear the bass is saying "you'll never find me" but it's probably just gnomes lol. There's some other easter eggs innit.
This is like a mix of a dance track with naturistic ambience mixed with an element of Radiohead's typical creepiness. It's probably closest to something like Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors (which is also spectacular) in structure. Other than that I have NO idea what to make of it
Following along with the Buddhist themes of the album, we come to another core concept, anatman; no self.
"You are not mine, I am not yours" there is no such thing as a possession, even the computer you're reading this on is just a collection of materials, there's no chemical justification for it belonging to you. The same goes for identity, you don't belong to your identity, and your identity doesn't belong to you. If the circumstances you were born into were different, and the things you saw changed, would you still have the same identity? I don't think so.
"Please do not judge me" Our identities are born from our judgement of what we do, how we act, etc. Learning to let go of identity requires you to stop judging yourself and others, to break the psychological walls between a tree and a cloud and you and your friends and people you've never met. They are all existent, so they all become the same.
A feral organism is one that has escaped from domestication and returned, partly or wholly, to a wild state
This song reminds me of Black Swan the scene where Nina (Natalie Portman) went to the the night club with Lily, started dancing and getting paranoid and then you see her creepy hallucinations in the background.
I listened to this backwards in hope of it becoming more clear...no luck, except there may be a point that says "nothing...in the world," although I'm not sure!
This is not an instrumental, at least at second 0:32 you can listen Thom Yorke saying "Feral", and while the song goes on, you can listen to him saying something else, a word similar to 'just', I haven't find out whst he says, but I'm pretty sure that in the song there is at least one complete sentence, or a message made of "hard to undecode" lyrics.
it's an instrumental. there's no way in hell anyone can interpret what he's saying - his voice acts more like an INSTRUMENT, thus instrumental. writing lyrics to this is like how there's lyrics up for Cocteau Twins songs.. it's just speculative and imagination stuff.

It's how s/he gets when s/he's oversexed, although s/he would argue that there's no such thing ;)
