This song is absolutely shaking down to the core. Each note is unbelievably vibrant, and James Blake ties it all together with oozy vocals reminiscent of soft rock artists, oddly enough. He then tunes his own voice to create extravagant harmonies layered in with his chilly bass lines. If you like minimal music with intense soul and passion behind it, Blake's your guy.
You could call James Blake "dubstep", but that implies that dubstep is the predominant genre,rather, Blake puts the dubstepness on the back burner, letting it add value to the foreground (As opposed to beefy wobbles that dominate the soundscape)and accentuate his own stylization on an eerie downtempo soulful musical chimera.
James Blake doesn't exactly jive with everyone. His work has been criticized as meaningless, but i think his skill is putting as much meaning in as little a package as possible.
But that's just like, my opinion, man. Just enjoy the music guys.
This song to me is very youthful in the most melancholy way imaginable. Seems like some sort of unrequited love. But like the kind where there wasn't ever a point where it was returned. Then noted in the lines "never alone, I can cope" and watching "you/two go" is that dreadful feeling of seeing her with someone else. He wishes he knew how easy it is for the two observed. Maybe even an inherent difficulty with women and relating on that level, and what seems easy for others. I dunno, any thoughts posters?

I could also be wrong here.. but it seems like Blake speaks of being able to cope with a break up the way his loved one did. The title is To Care (Like you), he may be referring to the lack of care that she(his loved one) had. I think watching two go, is him and his ex separating. He cares too much, but she doesn't; he wants to care the same way...

This could just be my interpretation, but I feel this song deeply and I feel that this is the meaning. Again, I could be way off here. Love this song
