I thought maybe we’d made a pact,
But you gave into foul temptations making all the
Wrong moves and the wrong decisions
Making lies up for all the right questions
Maybe I was just asking too much.
I don’t think it’s likely your just made from all the wrong stuff
Your bed’s been made
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
Done a number on all of my organs
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
Done a number on all of my organs
I must say I commend you on all of your fire,
Soaring highs and drowning lows,
Full speed ahead you go with all of your heart ache
It’s all greater 10 minutes till doomsday.
All the while just showing your teeth,
Smiling or growling, never sure I just wait and see.
Your bed’s been made, now go die in it.
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
Done a number on all of my organs
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
Done a number on all of my organs
And I’ve been racking my brain figuring out what to say,
But it may be safe to bet,
The day might come where I forgive what you’ve done
But it still hasn’t happened yet
Your bed’s been made, now go die in it.
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
You’re the black ice on my road to wholesome
Mona Lisa, you’ve really done something,
Done a number on all of my organs
On all of my organs
But you gave into foul temptations making all the
Wrong moves and the wrong decisions
Making lies up for all the right questions

by far the best song on the album. so catchy and a great car song to scream out to.
overall the album gets kind of repetitive. I loved the WALKING WOUNDED cd the best. this is all just starting to sound the same sadly.
is there a drug named mona lisa? i feel like this song is talking about some kind of substance abuse rather than a person. over all though, i love this song!
Nah, its Anthony's ex wife. About how he never knew what to expect from her. "Smiling or growling, never sure I just wait and see," is clearly referring to the Mona Lisa painting and how his ex wife must have acted and treated him.

First off this album is amazing. If you think it is repetitive then you need your ears cleaned out. It is different than their other albums for certain, and the songs are uplifting and not repetitive at all. On Love, On Life, for example, is unlike any other Bayside song.
As for this song, I think it might be about cocaine... Mona Lisa being a white girl and all.
"You're the black ice on my road to wholesome" This line seems to represent the loss of John "Beatz" Holohan the drummer whose died when the van hit black ice, saying that whatever Mona Lisa represents may have played a role in the accident.
