Global warming... Really? The entire album from its album art, to its lyrics is based on religion and finding your place in the universe. This song is about breaking away from religion that is founded by men, and finding your place in the universe. The part talking about hiding in the temples relates to those that go and try and be holy and are in fact just false. The aim of the song and the CD is that there's something else or "more" than religion.
Being a religious person myself I agree and disagree with the messages in the CD. I'm a christian and believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. But I also believe that a lot of religion is false. I sort of just believe that there's a lot more out there than we know about, and that I can only be the best person that I can try to be, and that eventually everything will click into place.

This song definitely does NOT refer to Global Warming! Understanding the song that way is really hilarious!! This song actually explains the fact that Religion and spirituality are in fact the antithesis of each other (you'll know it when you see the video). Religion aims at taking away the real power within you (which is the same energy which runs through the universe). Religion misguides you, and leads you in the wrong way, taking yourself away from the spiritual self!

I think this song is about global warming and the environmental crisis in general. Just some speculation but read it through and see if you agree.

This song could mean quite a few things, yes even global warming in a sense. It could mean the struggle against "the machine" or the "powers that be" the "elites" or whatever you wish to call the people whom believe it or not govern the state of affairs of the entire world from the secrecy and comfort of their billion dollar homes and private islands(sanctuaries). Lying about everything from global warming to the message of one god or another to what is good or not good for your body (fluoride) all for their own personal gain as individuals of a group struggling for power throughout the world and within itself. Using tactics such as the virtual flood of advertising encountered on television, the radio, the internet, newspapers, magazines, billboards or anything else a persons eyes come to rest on for even a split second (perpetuate with distractions). Paying off accredited scientists and doctors to say whatever they want the public to believe, it's been done in the past and it still occurs today. This song could also be interpreted as a warning against alien invaders (only united can we save humanity) and truly our only hope of survival against a technologically advanced race would be to unite as a single entity. Many alien species are believed to be subterranean (undercover sanctuaries) such as the greys and even some of the reptilians and insectoids. Some believe we were in fact created as a slave race (victims) by certain aliens in order to help them excavate precious minerals from the planet earth and I've heard said by many writers in the field of metaphysics that intervention on developing planets by already advanced aliens is a crime of sorts. I know this is all reaching rather far but I do read a lot of curious stuff to entertain my mind and this struck a chord with some of it, I admit it's likely a song about how we've so many times been deceived by our religious leaders into believing things must be a certain way in order for us to reach salvation. If it were so are we to really believe that only one denomination of the Christian church or any religion is right and all others are wrong? I believe we all come from a single source and life and the universe as we know it is just a giant sorting device, slowly but surely piecing the puzzle back together and as our "souls" become more and more refined through learning by our trials in each life we live we fall through the next filter in the sorter to be refined even more until we all reach our purest state and once again become part of the whole.

Verse 1: the ones that leave us astray would be the elites. The one's who run the world and 95% of all money. They run nearly every industry, corporation, government, and religion. With the lies they've been telling us for centuries, humans have lost the knowledge of higher consciousness and we've forgotten the ultimate power that lies within us: the power of spirituality. And the only way humanity will survive is if we all come together spiritually. Then the "illuminati" so to speak, will lose their power.
The choice is up to you to believe all this, but you cannot refuse to know it. Everyday more people find their higher self and we're slowly coming together as one.

this song is about the spiritual awakening of everybody (which is currently accelerating more than it ever has) if we are going to save the planet from our greed and all the government and corporate power controlling everything. if you want to change the world you first have to change yourself and become aware of who we infinitely are beyond what is objectively perceived. god doesn't judge you but the planet will if it proves to be too late.
