I think Sherri wrote this for Max. It's a nice positive end to everything she went through.
I can't get over how beautiful the new record was. I was really scared that it wouldn't meet my expectations because it was anticipated for so long, but truth be told, it totally surpassed them. This is so catchy. I agree, I think it's also about Max. I'm glad things have turned around for them.
I'm not quite sure if this is about Max. It sounds more like a movie-based lyric, kinda like Invasion.

If you're still thinking it's about religion, the whole guide thing could be about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is her guide, therefore she'll guide others to God. "If you're my guide, I'm your guide." Kind of makes sense.
