Can't Get Away

I want a fresh start, a moment to reflect on
Two thousand dreams destroyed
And then my mind starts feeling that it’s time I start leaving
Everything I ever once enjoyed
It’s always the short end that ends up in my hands
And it’s always gonna be this way
My visions distorted my mind can’t run away from the everyday routines in store
Can’t get away from the scenery I see everyday
Can’t get away from these moments that I had today
Can’t get away from the negativity in my brain
Can’t get away from the days coming after me
I want the worlds scars to show up in my thoughts
So the imperfections come on out today
And them my mind starts felling that it’s time I stat seeing
Everything the way that it's supposed to be
Time rests it’s head on the shoulders of the dead
And together they count down to till the end
The hours are stolen the dreams are never dreamt
And together we live the time we spend.
