My Body's A Zombie For You Lyrics
I can't fit in this skin
It's worn and useless thin
The size of the eyes
And the flies in the sky
Make it hard to see to the end
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
The smell of my breath
From the blood in your neck
(Oooh)
Oh I hold my soul
From the lands unknown
So I can play the strings of your death
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
I'm a Z-O-M-B-I-E, Zombie (18x)
It's worn and useless thin
The size of the eyes
And the flies in the sky
Make it hard to see to the end
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)
My body's a zombie for you
The smell of my breath

My body's a zombie for you
Oooh (3x)

My own interpretation is that its about love... Id be a zombie for my love. (in a sense) I think its a macabre way of looking at love. And I play the strings of death for my love if I were to "feed" on them they would become a zombie for my love. Idk. Just L-O-V-E Z-O-M-B-I-E style.
I think it is about hating one's body. It could be about saying that your body is destroyed and ugly for someone. Like this person could be self mutilating, or kill themselves for someone else, but to rub it in their face. Like saying, "Look, you've made me destroy myself."
Could be, or it could be symbolism for how the other person has complete control over them. "The smell of my breath from the blood in your neck" - when you love someone so much you just want to devour them. I think it's probably a bit of both.
