i think this song means that She fell in love with this guy and gave her soul to him. However, he's a man of no commitment and treats her as a mistress? She loves this guy too much that she fools herself and believe that they will be together, but that only happens in her dreams..

Okay for my interpretation of the song I believe it's about a man that once her boyfriend "lover" and they had public relationship but maybe he got married someone else and she was forced to become his lover because she felt they where soulmates. That's why she describes she and him (them) as the wolf and moon, something mythical that we call she as one from the werewolf tell. Still even though they are soulmates and he has married someone else the "sun" she has her nightly affairs with him. Seeing him only at night by her own wicked glow on the mountainside or for possibly better term love shack and then he leaves at dawn to return the sun to "sleep," in this home. As most wolves/werewolves come to their senses in the dawn on morning. She seems to even be confused by his action and seems to plead or say him how long will these go on. And even answers the question herself but saying that I their nightly affair won't end until sun dies. This possibly could mean the death of either him and his wife's relationship or the wife's true death. But this could also mean with her being the moon and the his wife being the sun that they would all die if even one of them died as the sun, moon, and earth all work as one. So the relationship/affair is doomed to possibly go on forever.

i'm pretty sure she is saying "and you are the wolf, and i am the moon", not "you are the one"
also, the lyric is "and in the endless sky we are the one, we are alive in my dreams"
and since i'm here anyways, it's "in the shadows we can hide" and "till the earth dies with the sun"

i believe it is about relationship which isn't real at all - it has it magic sites , it's a bit mythical . He's an independant (wolf) person , she loves and admires him. He is bend to her as his moon . Their relation is deeper than usual , they are able to turn each moment into special not because of super powers just because of strentgh of their love . There is no place for others , they can see only each other , but something goes wrong so they can't be togheter anymore (maybe their characters are too strong) . They are only meeting in their dreams , perfect moments are behind them , dreams only last. They were meant to be togheter but as it happens it was unable so they can only miss themselves and wait for the night when they can finally meet. Also if he's a wolf it can be compared to a relationship which is really natural and pure. also they had (woman and the man) to be really beautiful i can't imagine it in another way ;).

Maybe this song is about a couple which was in love once. Then, they probably broke up. But they keep meeting at night, "in the shadows". For one of them, the other is "the sun". For one of them, they're dreaming of a different tomorrow, when their love is higher than sun and night, anything.
Just my thoughts on this nebulous beautiful song.
