Choice Notes Lyrics
When I'm feelin' low
These are my choice notes
when I'm down on the floor
I shake it for your holy ghost
and I sip it off, I sip it off
I spit it out, it sounds real nice
I sip it off I sip it off
I spit it out, I'm satisfied
Oh Jameson
You should be weighing on my soul now
But I turn the music loud
Get ready to go
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
These are my choice notes
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
its 3:45 and I'm still on a roll
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
these are my choice notes
its 3:45 and I'm still on a roll
And what you don't know
cant slow my tempo
though you beat at my bones
won't catch me singing sad prose
and I sip it off, I sip it off
I spit it out, it sounds real nice
I sip it off I sip it off
I spit it out, I'm satisfied
Oh Jameson
You should be weighing on my soul now
But I turn the music loud
Get ready to go
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh

This song is about boozing. Jameson is a popular whiskey.
Gosh, it sounds so innocent but I think this song actually might be very very naughty. "when I'm down on the floor I shake it for your holy ghost".. Not to mention the line that comes after that !

I'm pretty sure it's not dirty (hopefully). It's a slightly ironic song, it's a happy song about her break up where she listened to happy music to get over the breakup "when i'm feeling low, these are my choice notes" - listens to certain music to get feel happy "when I'm down on the floor, I shake it for your holy ghost" - going on the 'dance' floor and dancing (obvs) "Oh Jameson, You should be weighing on my soul now, But I turn the music loud, Get ready to go" - she's not sad about the guy Jameson cause the musics cheering her up "its 3:45 and I'm still on a roll" - she's still dancing "though you beat at my bones won't catch me singing sad prose" - he's made her sad, but she won't be depressed and listen to sad music
Either way, you can interpret a song whatever way you want. Boo-yah!
It's mostly just about letting loose after a touch break-up of some sort. And I agree with Gorjessica about the drinking theory; another way of forgetting.
