well i have to meanings & views. the first view is I think this song means the second coming of Jesus because it says "I still believe the best is yet to come" so that must mean jesus might come. So the best is yet to come. and the second meaning is about a relationship the line "Can I find my way to you And After all that we've been through,And after all we left in pieces" is getting back together and doing everything that you used to do in the relationship.....thats my opion.
The song is definitely about a boy-girl relationship. One of them feels that they've lost the other, but they are optimistic that it's not over yet.

Seriously just because they are a Christian band doesn't mean every song has some deep Christian message...
I just always get the image of a wedding, so I would agree with the man-woman relationship.
To me this song is about all the good, and bad, times we've experienced. That's why this song was a finalist for our grad song this year. It mentions that the best is still to come and though we may have experienced quite a bit, we still have so much ahead of us! Cheers friends :)
I know what this means. The term "the best is yet to come" is definitely aa reference to Jesus coming back. I know this for a fact.
