I think it's about the war. I'm unsure when it was written. But it mentions the calvary and soldiers. And how they cross the seas to never think again. Like a soldier in the military has no opinions, only what his commanders tell him
@matheny - Yes, I think it has something to do with war, but that's not the whole picture. I believe he's talking about our fancy frozen boundaries of our land of milk and honey, of plenty. The richest country in the world that keeps its train of wealth flowing in by devouring animals, resources and such.
