This one seems fairly obvious to me, they're from Washington and want to stay there rather than LA or Nashville.

You're right that this song is straightforward, but I'm confused about "33rd." Oregon was the 33rd state, but as you say, they're from Washington. Any idea what that lyric means?

Probably 33rd street out in Anacortes.
