But I Am A Good Girl Lyrics
The dress is Chanel
The shoes, YSL
The bag is Dior
Agent Provocateur
My address today, LA by the way
Above Sunset Strip, the hills all the way
My rings are by Webster
It makes the heads twirl
They all say, "Darling, what did you do for those pearls?"
What?!
I am a good girl..
[ INSTRUMENTAL ]
B.H, I adore
Rodeo- oh, l'amour!
Breakfast, Polo Lounge and pools at the shore
The Chateau for cocktails
The Courtyard at nine
Dan Tana's for dinner
The ---- is divine (?)
You know I have found the words goin' round
They all say my feet never do touch the ground
What?!
I am a good girl..
[ INSTRUMENTAL ]
I am a good girl
Uhhh
oohhh
yeahhh
Uh.

The second verse lyrics are way off. It's supposed to be a list of glamorous spots in LA.
"B.H. I adore Rodeo -- oh, l'amour! Breakfast, Polo Lounge and pools at the shore The Chateau for cocktails The Courtyard at nine Dan Tana's for dinner"... ...And the last line I don't know!
BH = Beverly Hills. Rodeo Drive, of course. The Polo Lounge, the Chateau Marmont and Dan Tana's are all celebrity hangouts. (Not sure what The Courtyard refers to.)
And this title!
This song is basically about her having all these fancy & expensive things & people thinking she did some bad thing to get all of them, like sleeping with someone or something.
I think the last line in the second verse is “The Helen’s divine”.
The “Helen” is the name of a steak on the menu at Dan Tana’s, which is the restaurant name checked in the previous line of that verse verse. So it’s not another famous Hollywood/Beverly Hills location, it’s a reference to a menu item.
“Dan Tan’s for dinner, The Helen’s divine!”
