This is seriously one of the heaviest songs instrumentally! Vocally it's so amazing, the cleans and screams are epic.
Lyrically I think it's about how something so small can create something so deadly if you let it become too powerful. An example is the reference to helen of troy, one person's beeauty started a whole war. The chorus is using a metaphor saying if something as small as a shiver touches you, don't become tortured or frightened by it, just close your eyes.

It's about love, how people can be tortured by the fragile touch of someone they love, or start wars over someone. If you try to fight it, you get beaten, so you must ignore it.
