Some of these lyrics are great, but it worries me a little. It sounds like a lot of suicidal romanticization.
I think he is talking partially about suicide. I believe he is talking about he was so insecure and lost that he didn't have anything to live for. I think he's talking to someone he trusts (maybe loves) and he is asking them to save them if they think he is worthy , and if he's not , just let him go and die . I believe that he's saying he's giving up some security by letting his guard down and hopefully he will get full security with this person because of it. He is truly depending on this person. I think that the lyric isn't "I'll rise bonfires..." He's pretty good about using the right words where he should. Grammatically, that'd need to be "I'll raise bonfires..." anyway. What I think is correct though is "Our eyes are bonfires..." since the next like talks about "windows... to a soul..."
Also! "Be the HEART inside my chest." What?! The hawk?
