MoneyGrabber Lyrics
Don't come back anytime I've already had your kind
This is your pay back, money grabber
Don't come back anytime, you've already run me dry
This is your pay back, money grabber
Teardrops fade
Then I saw, blue hands in the pocket
'Cause you were always made to want it all
But now you got to make it on your own
This ain't your home
So I'm showing you the door
Wave goodbye now, it's time for you to go
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind
This is you pay back, money grabber
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind
This is your pay back, money grabber
Blue rhinestone glass
All I see
You talking double
Like the time you set fire to me
'Cause I'm in trouble
Here's my advice
I don't think twice for the price of a cheap time whore
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind
This is you pay back, money grabber
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind
this is your pay back, money grabber
One. Two. Leave
One is for the money
Two is for the greed
And three times that I told you you're the one
I just don't need
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind
This is you pay back, money grabber
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind
This is your pay back, money grabber
Money grabber
Money grabber

Wow what a song. Heard it on the radio nd thought it was an old era song. But no its a new song! i think its about a woman whose a goldigger. The guy is pretty much sayin "F-u i dont want you no more."
Ok that's weird. But I also would have sworn it's a reaaally old song. Maybe it's covered by this band? Or is it an original? Can anyone confirm this?
It is an Original from this band, I just saw them last night in Hollywood... once word AMAZING! They are a new band with that old motown feel... I love it, if you haven't by now I suggest you get the albumn well worth it ; )

I, like everyone here, also thought this was a really old song. I randomly got it stuck in my head and wasn't sure where I heard it recently (I really thought I had heard it many times before), and had to look up the lyrics to figure out what it was called. That's what's weird about this song. You feel like it's a song you've known your whole life and then you find out it's basically brand new.
First off, I agree with klaxon, I thought this was an "oldie" that I never heard, and when I looked it up and found out it's a new song I was floored. All themes of art are cyclical, but we've been stuck with pretty much the same watered down styles and crappy "club" music that for someone to come out and attempt to revive Motown is freaking awesome. Hope to hear more from more artists. A nice melding of the old and the new would be nice too.
I'm guessing this is about a woman who took all she could, walked out the door, and tried to crawl back for more once her new boy had enough. The guy she left sees her crying like she wants to come home, but then he sees "blue hands in her pockets", basically saying she's only crying cause she needs something from him again. His payback to her is that, although she's in need, she's burnt her bridge and "has to make it on her own" now, which probably won't happen cause she's such a ho.
Yes I thought this was an old one remixed as well. The sound is very reminiscent of Hall and Oates, which is who I thought was the original artist, but I looked into that and it wasn't them. Catchy song though!
I fucking love this song..mostly the lyrics..Here's my advice . I don't think twice for the price of a cheap time whore .also reminds me of maneater.///////
For those wondering, this song is not a remake. It is an original song from this band written by Mr Fitz himself. I saw these guys at Lollapalooza 2011 and they are awesome live. If you ever get a chance to see them perform, do it. You won't be sorry.
3 Times that I told you you're the one...-I just don't need!! GREAT SONG!
Amazing song, amazing album & amazing band live! Also saw them @ Lollapalooza 2011 in 100 degree weather & the rocked hard for an hour. This is not an old song, but one written by Michael Fitzpatrick (Fitz) himself...they are touted as a soul/indie pop band & they are a great throwback band with nice hooks. All of you who mentioned a similarity to Hall & Oates....you are right, AND, Daryl Hall loves them too. Check out the episode of his show "Live from Daryl's House" when he hosted & sang with Fitz & The Tantrums....epic! www.livefromdarylshouse.com Look in the episode archives for it. Noel even gets to sing "Sara Smile" with Daryl.....yowza!
Well, it is an old song now.
This song is about a woman who dates a rich man, but only for his money. She reaches in his pocket hoping he'll think it's an act of romance, but in actuality she's stealing money right out of his pocket. He catches her doing it and kicks her out of his home and tells him never to come back.
