I think what hes really referring to is pastors or preachers, that interpret they own outlook on the bible, You are nothing but a false prophet A sworn enemy from the day we met Head held up higher than your eyes could see Your source of greed lacks divinity, many pastors use religion as a gate way to make money, and basically he could just be saying take your own chance at faith, and not always believe in these fake or false prophets that think they are friends with god like god talks to them.......I am your god not your friend He is fraud Embrace the end...

I think that this song is from the perspective of two different people. One refuses to believe, and the other tries to convince him to 'Take a chance, Don't look back.' that's the closest I could get, because it does seem unusual for them.

i think this whole album from the first song Bro My God to Take One Last Breathe is showing a transfer of a non-believer to someone who has finally accepted god into their life. so this song is showing how someone against christanity would view. when they say "a book full of stories" they mean they bible, so they're so saying how none of that affects them, but at the end of the album they say how they are done with sin and they paid their price.

So this song kind of confuses me because most of their other songs are God honoring and this one is just kind of saying that the bible really means nothing in the end and saying that God's "greed" makes him lack divinity....i don't really see how sending your only son to die for all sinners of the world could be greedy...but ya so im thinking that maybe this song is sung through the eyes of Satan or something around those lines but this song definitely confused me.....anyone else have other thoughts?????

Hey, just wanted to tell you all what this album really means. It’s a story! :D the story is about a Guy who go through the changing of becoming a Christian. In the song Bro My God, it’s basically how most of us start out. He doesn’t believe in Jesus, and hates everything and everyone. In the song Geeving, he goes to a party, and sees someone reading. He sees a cross on the front of it… it’s a bible. He begins to feel different, and weird. In the song Megawacko2.1, he begins to feel tremendous pain in his heart. he feels he is missing something. In When Dreams Become Nightmares, he starts to have dreams about Jesus, and Heaven. He keeps seeing this face he doesn’t know. In Strange Love, he feels the need for something more again, something big, Love. In Family Goretrait, he realizes that his own family hates him because he isn’t Christian. He begins to cry out in agony for help. Guardian Angel, an angel hears his cry, and tells him what awaits him in his journey if he fallows this path, but also tells him he can be forgiven, and tells him how, it tells him to pray t Jesus. In Structures, he prays to God and asks to be forgiven, and he tells Jesus that he needs help finding heaven. He becomes a Christian. In Heaven, he passes through that phase that most of us do. He starts to doubt again because his prayers are delayed from being answered. He learns it just takes time, and honor in your belief. In Take One Last Breath, he finally goes to Heaven, or in other terms he “Dies”. He on the road to paradise, and is having guidance by God himself, and at the end, he says he is done with sin, and accepts God, and lives in paradise. :D I would never doubt your heart guys. If you feel that God is telling you there is something big about let’s say a band for example. Always accept it. :D
