"today leave good for great, leave sleep for late" seems to imply wanting to try your best everyday and to achieve more than you dreamed you ever would-- and also not wanting to passively snooze your life way when you could be experimenting and experiencing

This song is super fun to listen to! I think that it's about wasting your time, and deciding that you are not going to. Another meaning could be that it is just skipping boring thugs such as reading and sleep for something more fun.
