Everyone comments on the songs they can relate to, right? Well i'm in a relationship that is just going downhill by the minute. We are very much in love, but things just aren't working... and we've both been trying so hard to work through it. but it's not working.
To me... this is what is happening in the song. This couple wants things to work, they just can't get it right.
I'm a literature student, and couldn't help but see, 'You left your flowers in the backseat of my car,' as a clever metaphor - deflowering = losing virginity. :P My interpretation is that this song refers to a young couple in their teens or very early twenties. The relationship is on the rocks, but it makes it harder because they think they love each other and can't move on despite the fact they are not right for each other in the long term. Nice song.
I love this song, it's like the new 'She Will Be Loved'. It's really a pretty tune with equally pretty lyrics to go along. It's both happy and sad at the same time.
The lyrics should be correct, the only part I'm questioning is, "Oh, so much to say it's not the way she does her _____," specifically the last word. If anyone could clarify that'd be great!

The melodic tones of Adam's voice are perfect on this track. This whole CD is amazing.

Such a beautiful song, perfectly describes the way that I felt when my boyfriend and I were breaking up. Terribly depressing but so wonderful.
I love this song!!! It's very easy to interpret, it's about a young couple in the midst of a break up. Best song on the album by far.
Best ballad on the entire album. I love the chorus,

It basically embodies losing apart of yourself from a break-up and the one person is unrecognizable anymore and all we are left with is just a feeling whether it's depressed, regret, or sadness.
Really good song, I feel bad for Adam if he has go through this. Seems like all his love songs are messed up.
