Second verse is "I only mean to deceive." This song actually choked me up a bit when I first heard it. To me, it's like he's saying, I'm not perfect, I'm not always right, buti know this and I'm asking you to love me anyway. He's admitting his faults but saying I'll open up myself to you, & you don't even have to always listen to me, just love me. Sweet.

This song makes me want to dance around, and I enjoy everything about it. Lyrics make me thing about how hard it is to get to know someone, even after years. You never listen to me! Even though if you were listening you might know I'm not actually giving the full story. Have to listen fully and speak from the heart, not easy. A little story emerges about a lifelong love where you never listened to me.
