Scott Pilgrim Lyrics

I've liked you for a thousand years, a thousand years.
(I can't wait 'til I see you)
I've liked you for a thousand years, a thousand years
(I can't wait 'til I see you)
I've liked you for a thousand years, a thousand years

You can't stand to see me that way.
No matter what I do, no matter what I say.
Yeah!
You can't stand to see me that way.
Yeah! Yeah!

Yeah so the lyrics are pretty self explanatory. What I really like about this song is the guitar part. It's just so awesome. Really kickass. I don't know how to explain it but it's really awesome. I also like the name of the song. Dunno why, though I suspect the comic and movie it would go on to inspire play some small part in it. And for anyone who's only listened to it on the movie soundtrack, I'd advise you to listen to the original version as well. The one on the soundtrack is a little too polished a slick. The original is rougher and I prefer it.

I fell in love with this song after falling in love with the Scott Pilgrim comics and movie. It's super simple, girly, indie, Toronto, punk rock. And the instruments sound great as well. It's a super catchy and fun song.

I'd like to know if Scott Pilgrim was a real person originally.
