I love this song(: pretty self-explanatory. "just friends" to "together" to "apart" to "nothing" so sad ): but so easy to relate to. a good tear-jerker when you just need to mourn a breakup.
I love this song.. And it's pretty easy to interpret. It's about a guy who can't get over this girl (his ex).. And that he can't be friends with after everything that happened between them. So sad :( I can so relate to this!!!

Agree with ohsosweet, it's about two people who were "just friends" in the beginning, then one day, moved on to something more, and now at this point, she doesn't want to be with him like that anymore, and is asking him to go back to being friends again, and he's saying it's impossible because now he's in love with her.
